Arellano Family Summary: Escaping from the Mexican Revolution (1910-1920), Amado brought his family from Saltillo, Coahuila to Texas in 1914. They traveled in a covered wagon and had to stop on the Mexico side of the border to give birth to Manuel. After the birth, they paid the one-penny fee to cross the bridge at Del Rio, Texas and eventually ended up in the Ballenger Texas area.
